This was the state of my kitchen when I first started work on my new house. My new abode needed : A complete re-wire. New Double Glazing, New Guttering, Damp Course, Complete re-plastering. New roof, new plumbing, wall ties, Complete re-decoration, New Carpets, New central heating. All in all it was going to be a massive challenge and quite a strain on the finances.  

Here I am in the Gaucho grill in Amsterdam, this was my second trip to Amsterdam and I spent 4 days in this beautiful northern european city. Gaucho grill is an Argentinian steak house and it was located close to central station, it took a long to get seated but the never ending ribs was worth it. When you've finished your "rack" if you've room to spare they bring you more until you are full.

Summer in Amsterdam!! This was 4 days in Amsterdam 26 miles walking round the city. There were so many cafes to sit in and watch the day go by. The weather was beautiful and the scenery is a just a joy to see. Amsterdam has so much ambiance, the markets, the people. Anything goes in Amsterdam and the dutch people live by their code of "Gezillg" if it looks good and has a nice vibe then that's what life is all about!
