9/11 Photos NYC

I went to NYC to visit my cousin and whilst I was there, 9/11 happened. Which came a real shock as I was in the world trade centre the night before on 9/10. I was even offered tickets for 9/11 but turned them down at the last minute.

NYC - These are some pictures from the days around 9/11. From top left, some tributes at the washington square memorial, The press crews outside St Vincent's hospital (triage). Missing persons posters covering a news van (literally '000s all over the city, very upsetting). More messages and tributes. Building work covering in US Flags in Times Square. WTC. The national guard arriving down 5th Avenue over 100 vehicles, everyone stopped and cheered as they went past, very moving. Bill & Chelsea Clinton walking around Greenwich village talking to people.
